Tailoring Class

The Tailoring Class for Women aimed to empower women by equipping them with essential sewing and tailoring skills for personal and economic development. Organized in collaboration with local artisans and fashion designers, the class covered fundamental techniques such as fabric cutting, stitching, pattern making, and garment finishing. Participants engaged in hands-on practice and created various clothing items, gaining confidence and proficiency in tailoring. The programme successfully provided women with the skills to start their own tailoring businesses or secure employment in the garment industry, receiving enthusiastic feedback for its practical approach and supportive learning environment. Future recommendations include offering advanced tailoring courses, providing business development support, and expanding the classes to reach more women in the community.
